10/22 rear sight

I have a 10/22 compact I bought for my son way back before he was born. He's 5 now, and ready to shoot some paper targets for the first time. Somehow the rear sight is gone and I need to replace it. Not sure where best deal is.

if you're talking about the flip up sight on the barrel, those are easy to find online - check out midway, brownells or even ebay. I think they're about $12.

you can also get a sight that attaches to the receiver via the existing threaded holes. something like the Williams firesight. although I believe those use a taller front sight so you will need to drift out the old front sight.
