Good local range. They do not like AR pistols, but I enjoy going there.

Nice place. Good people to deal with.
I do some of the tactical shoots there as well as my CCW classes.

Nice place. If you are a half decent shot put a 4 MOA group down and qualify for the 200 yard range. 200 yard range is really chill.

That is the gun range I use. They have made many improvements over the past couple of years. They are generally friendly.
Anyone can look around and see the damage to the state and country inflicted by bad politicians.

A vote is clearly much more dangerous than a gun.

Why advocate restrictions on one right (voting) without comparable restrictions on another (self defense) (or, why not say 'Be a U.S. citizen' as the requirement for CCW)?

I live in Woodbridge, just north of Lodi. Since Sac Valley is about 4-5 miles further to drive than going to Linden, I hang my hat at Sac Valley, I am a non-voting member at Sac Valley...

I used to go to Linden, last time I was there I did notice they was doing upgrades. Linden is a good range to shoot, more laid back. What sold me on Sac Valley was the 100 yard rifle line, you can set up at 25, 50, 75 or 100 yards without changing benches. At the Linden range, you have either 50 or 100 yard rifle line, if you start out the 50 yard line, you will have to move all your gear to the 100 yard line if you want to stretch things out. At Linden, there is a 25 yard line between the rifle line and the pistol line you can shoot a rifle on if you need to get on paper...

Linden does have a 200 yard line but Sac Valley has a 300 yard line. At Sac Valley you can shoot either 150, 200 or 300 yards without changing benches. You do have to qualify to shoot at the 300 yard line at Sac Valley...

Sac Valley has a way cool 25 and 50 yard steel target line for .22lr...

The 300 yard line, 100 yard line, pistol line and .22lr steel target line is available for non members on the days Sac Valley is open to the public...

I guess the Manteca range is the other option, I have shot there a couple of times. Manteca is nice but on the rifle line at 50 yards all you can shoot is .22lr, everything else rifle goes to the 100 yard line. It has been awhile since I have shot there, maybe some things have changed...

Things have changed. You can shoot other than 22lr at the 50 yard line at the Manteca range.
A 30cal will reach out and touch them. A 50cal will kick their butt.

I'll be shooting the monthly USPSA match there tomorrow (Sunday the 13th). I have been shooting at that range on and off for the last 30 years. They have made great strides over the last few years. It is still a family owned range. Rumor has it that they want to get the pool up and running again.

Is Manteca above the water yet?

It has been above water for the trap/pistol/rifle for quite awhile. I believe the other parts are up and running also. I am thinking of going out there Sun again.

It drives me nuts though to see grown folks with their center fire rifles shooting all day at 50 yards while kids with .22's have to wait.

When I have been there I have always seen room for another shooter on the 50 yard line. Also kids/22RF will get first choice over adults with centerfire rifles if it comes to that.

Can't comment on the public range but their USPSA matches are fun and well run.

Went on Sunday to check out the USPSA match. Really cool group of guys and they run a fast turn around in the stages. Met several really great guys and got some great ideas for a Competition gun. Rich Wilde even let me molest his highly modified S&W 929 so now I'm on a mission. Thanks to all of you who made me feel so welcome there, I'll be back.

I've only had it bad a few times, most people follow the rule to let rimfire shooters use the 50 yard.
