Can someone point me to an animation of how a gun(s) works?

I'm trying to explain to a gun noobie how a semi-auto pistol works and my crude drawings aren't cutting it. I was also trying to explain how a gas operated rifle works as well. Its hard to explain the lock up mechanisms and differences without some kind of animation. I looked at "howstuffworks.com" and they had some animations but they weren't all that great. An AR, 1911, and AK animation would be nice.

I have seen different animations of how paintball guns operate. Maybe that would be a good start?
