I've searched and let me know if I missed it but does anyone know more about this? Not too sure about a pressure fitting in the magwell.

Torkmag G-Block... maybe good?
Tags: None -
Yeah I'm probably going to order one - I was just curious if anyone knew anything about it or heard of any reviews of the product. The pictures on the site are definitely lacking.
If it works well, the benefit is you can go featureless similar to an AR as well as it not being permanent AR9Comment

Thats pretty nifty. I'll wait for reviews. I have an AR with a hahn conversion block. Probably my least favorite AR or rifle i own. Since its finicky, it also took a lot of messing around and tweaking to get it to run ok. I have glock mags coming out my butt, so i like things that take glock mags since they are so plentiful and can get them in 10 - 50 rounds.Last edited by xxINKxx; 08-05-2017, 8:07 PM."If a law is unjust, a man is not only right to disobey it, he is obligated to do so." - Thomas JeffersonComment

Just heard from Torkmag that pre-orders will ship in 2 weeks.Comment

I'm interested because using standard type mag release means I can do this with a pistol lower and keep it "fixed mag". I already have the pistol lower and just don't have as much fun shooting 5.56 with it as I thought I would. Not having a good BB2.0 option for the glock style lowers is the reason I didn't build one already. No featureless for pistol. I've read plenty of "finicky" hahn and similar blocks, and don't want to invest in new mags either. Hopefully this is better.Comment

Looking to build out a striped lower. It looks as if TorkMag is now shipping the G-Block:
Has anyone used this or ordered this. I like that it uses glock magazines (which I have) and seems legit to put on a CA BB (yes this will be registered in CA).
I am just looking for feedback before making my final decisions / purchases. Thanks.Comment

Got it - it works great so far. The only issue I had initially was with getting the right adjustment - initially it was grabbing the follower in my mag after the last round since my AR9 doesn't hold the action open after the last shot. Note- if you don't have a gas system on your upper, you will need to run a milspec trigger to ensure you get a reset on trigger after each shot.
After about 20-40 minutes of adjusting I got it into place- definitely worth having some snap caps or dummy rounds handy to test it out.
A couple more things - because the pressure hex bolts that hold this in place go in at an angle, there is a chance the ejector can get skewed at a slight angle and rub against your bolt. The credit card trick (similar to on the original polymer 80s) worked for me to close this gap. It wasn't needed for me but I felt better about there not being a slight air gap in my lower.
Got about 300 rds through, no issues - runs like a champ. Highly recommend it so far - just make sure you cycle it with dummy rounds to get it fitted right.Last edited by Nothingontv; 11-19-2017, 4:06 PM.Comment

Curious to see if anyone else has feedback.
I got mine and had 2 issues; mags seated a little high causing bolt to hit follower.
Also there's nothing to stop over insertion when reloading on an open bolt.Comment

Has anyone figured out how to fix the bolt hitting the follower issue? I juts intsallled one and I am having the same issues where the bolt slams into the mag follower.Comment

With glock style lowers so prevalent and cheap , this 80$ plastic part is just not a logical alternative.GO NAVYComment

FYI, delta team tactical has them for $63, ordered and received mine.
