Registering AW jointly and other notes...

Just got off the phone with the DOJ.

If you are looking to register AWs jointly, the procedure is the following.

Both owners must open their individual CFAR account.

The primary, the person that DROS'd the gun, will register the weapon and chose himself as primary.

At the end of the process a number will be given.

The secondary, will register the same AWs, pay the 15 dollar fee a second time, put himself as secondary, plug in the number the primary got, and go through the process.

pics must be a min of 10MB. cellphone pics are ideally suited for the system, says the DOJ.

Does the joint person need to be of age? I assume so but you never know. I can not joint it with my 5 year old?

the joint person must have a safety certificate I was told. I'm not sure if there is an age limit beyond that requirement.

Mine will not be hidden. They can go F off. I will be registering a few before the dead line. I will put something with the rifles in the uploaded pics. Maybe the CONSTITUTION or something else that offends the Cali gun grabbers.

So I called back and asked the following question.

I register the AW today, how much time does my secondary have to put in his application as secondary to the same AW.

"I don't know. It's a new system. We haven't come into that yet. We will put in the question."
