Do CA LEO get training specific to CCW encounters?

For our county, we give the officer our DL and with it our CCW lic. Make sure your hands are visible (on steering preferably). Let them ask the question if you're armed or not. Don't do this:
Officer: Lic. And reg. Please?
You: I have a gun.
Officer: "bang bang bang"
