However, antifa is know. To use violence and the threat of violence to suppress free expression by those who they disagree with and that is consistent with the actions of a hate group and ironically also with fascism historically.

You have to realize that this is exactly what this group is fighting against in this state. It is generally looked down upon (understatement) to desire to deprive a person of their rights because of their race, religion, education, or their ideology. That statement almost sounds bigoted.

Really? You have been on this site for a whole 7 months and this is what you have come up with? This group doesn't exist solely to support white male conservatives. There are tons of women, LGBT, minority and liberal members that contribute to this forum.

With respect to your original post... Yes, it is about time that the left started arming themselves... the only problem is they are a day late and a dollar short, since their representatives have and are making it nearly impossible to get the best tools for the job. They missed gunmaggedon and now can only get neutered AR15s and a handful of old tech pistols to defend themselves and soon will be paying more for ammo to develop their skills.

It might be wise to find out why the Democratic party hates poor people, minorities, women, and the LGBT community so much that they desire to keep them from the best tools for the job of defending themselves.
