So to make this cali legal. In the past I had the stock fixed and a bullet button added. With the new laws I understand them as long as I throw a kydex wrap around the pistol grip I'm legal again right?

I'm assuming since you said that you had the stock fixed, that yours is a Gen 2, and that the stock is fixed in a position that meets minimum overall length requirements (30") in fireable (unfolded) configuration.sigpic

I make all of my wraps. Some turn out nicer/cleaner than others...
I don't take too much time to make them pretty - they are just there to comply with idiotic laws and nothing more.
Sometimes I have some issues getting the wraps to cool in a form tight enough on the grip. In the case of the Sub 2k you can just put one of the grip screws through the grip wrap to hold it secure, as I did above.sigpic
