Has anyone else noticed a major drop in firearms prices?

I keep getting emails with sales for mostly black rifles as well as some other firearms that are lower than I have seen in years. They seem to be giving away AR's especially. It seems these deals started in early January. I am wondering if it is due to a drop off of CA sales (did we do that much volume???) or Trump being elected, or a combination? Maybe something I am not thinking of? Is it just my imagination?

Trump and the republicans have control of the federal government which means no new firearms legislation for a couple years. People are waiting on purchases.

If you look at pricing increases and panic buying it's when democrats get elected.

Ammo prices are also down, compared to just before the election. Same reasoning as firearms prices.

Sadly, we here in the PRK are not like the rest of the nation. So stock up, boys!

Watching the PSA emails the prices have definitly dropped on ARs and parts kits. Ammo is all I am focused on till the end of the year.

ARs are easy to make and once manufacturers cannot command premium for their builds, it becomes a race to the bottom on pricing alone. No different than any other commodity with ample supply.

I actually talked to a local gunsmith who used to do high end AR builds with accurized barrels and whatnot, and he got out of it because there wasn't enough money in it. He sticks to custom work on 1911s now...

We shouldn't get complacent though because prices are dropping. Now its easier to stock up before something else happens ha

No panic demand with trump, now sellers who have hoarded stuff have to make back their money somehow to pay their bills, therefore they have to sell low.

I haven't been able to buy anything reasonable (at least reasonable to me) in months, Many months.

                Here is the last one
Centurion UC9 (UZI), 9MM, 16" Bbl, Gun Parts Kit.

A couple bidders jumped in near the end that were Very motivated buyers
(My wild as guess was the No FFL required)
Larry-in-Eastbay A+(110) ended up with it for $513.00
                and I had to wonder,
Larry what would you possibly do with that in east bay (assuming that's east bay California)

Obama is gone. Even he admitted that he was the best gun salesman that the firearms industry could have.

Not in C&Rs. Prices are as high as they've been, and generally are staying on an upward trend

I dont think that prices have necessarily come down, as much as the panic that drove them up has subsided. The prices are still up there.

I'm not really paying attention. I bought a couple of shotguns and just concentrating on ammo now.

Off roster handguns (at least the ones I am looking for) don't seem to be falling. Or maybe they are going up because I am looking now.....not sure
