Enjoy your shotgun. you already waited for it.
80% of states don't even have a waiting period.
    Enjoy your shotgun.

        1. You got your weapons after waiting the 10 days.
        2. If he does anything illegal with that paperwork it's on him as a highly regulated FFL I doubt he'd do anything to jeopardize that.
        3. You've got your statement above in this thread that lays out what happened in the event your worst case scenario does happen which is highly unlikely. Now somehow archive it and or save it in case this thread somehow gets deleted. That should set your mind at ease.

        Hope this helps.

I guess the worst case thought is already in my head; this FFL began selling guns some years after the neighboring store (original FFL) got popped for exactly that. However this is a new FFL holder with a new storefront, that opened a door between the shops years after the incident when they began selling firearms. I would imagine the new licensee would not do anything to mess it up.

In all reality, I think I will move on with my life. Thank you guys for your input.

The 4473 is a federal form, while DROS is a state matter. The Feds are VERY picky on how the 4473 is filled out. No strikeouts, abbreviation, etc.

The FFL was just correcting a mistake made by his employee that could cost him in an ATF audit, and maybe cost him his license.

Enjoy your guns, and don't be so paranoid.

The 4473 stays at the FFL and is subject to audit by the atf.

Swiping a driver license or I'd card is required to start a dros. The 4473 won't help.
