Lock stock & Barrel temple city & primers

I went there today. They are closing up shop for good this friday. In stock right now they still have boxes of Federal and CCI primers for shotgun 209, large pistol and small pistal. I picked up a box of 1000 each of shotgun and large pistol. 32.00 per box. get them before they close down for good.

I was there a few months ago and the clerk, a tall bald heavy set guy said someone had bought the place. All he had in stock were some cap and ball pistols. I guess the deal fell through. Gunrunners will be picking up the slack I suppose. Now seems like the best time to have a gunstore with ARs coming back to California and the run on semi autos. That place was on life support for years.

Ya the only problem with Gun Runners is RELOADING. Lock Stock was the only place really locally around where you can get powder, primers bullets and any other reloading equipment. Gun runners wont have anything to do with reloading.

While I hate to see Lock Stock & Barrel close up for good, a ways up the 210 is another source for reloading components: http://www.reloadingstore.com/ While I bulk order much of my shooting needs via the internet, the Reloading Store adjacent to the Angeles Range gets a fair bit o' cash from me every year.

Over the years I have purchased a few pounds of powder, boxes of bullets, primers, and accessories from Dona at L S & B. My son's first rifle came from there, as did a great S&W M15. And I sold a few consignments through Dona. She did not suffer fools - and Dona had her own definition of a fool. But, she'd been in the gun business longer than the average CalGunner has been alive. YMMV, hers clicked over a couple times. I'll miss having a real gun store in the area; we are all the poorer for the loss.

Thanks for the heads up Scrat. I always assumed that they didn't have any because I didn't see it on the shelves. I went in there today and bought 2 cases of large pistol primers. Thanks again! It's better than having to pay s/h and hazmat fees.
