Has anyone heard from Charley Santoni?

I sent Charley of CS Sports my gun stock back in February to get repainted. A job that was supposed to take 6-8 weeks is still ongoing and I have yet to get my stock. It was supposedly finished on May 24th and was supposed to be shipped out on June 2nd, my check was cashed on June 4th. As of right now, I do not have my stock and Charley will not answer any phone calls, emails, or texts and I'm getting worried I won't ever see it.

I know sometimes life will get in the way and I try to give people the benefit of the doubt but a response to an email or phone call would be appreciated. I contacted the woodland PD yesterday to see what actions should be taken and I just hope it doesn't come to me having to sue him in small claims court over a freaking guy stock.

If anyone knows Charley or knows a better way of getting ahold of him I would appreciate any ideas or thoughts on this issue. I know from searches he has a history of doing this same thing to other customers. I just want my dang gunstock!!!!

I just did a thread on that butthead pos! he had one of my rifles for 3 years or so. I have tens of emails and phone calls discussing the gun and all the time he was to replace it. Never happened. I moved to Texas and whalaa my gun showed up at my door. No note, No apologies, No Nothing. He got the same back. He had called me once and said he was deer hunting in Canada and he would mail it out as soon as he got back. Research the guy he is a Known thief and I will add Crackhead!!! Good Luck. Also file a complaint with BBB not that it helps but it's a step. Also file a report with his local Police Dept. again it's just a step they can't do much because in the eye of business you gave him your item, he just hasn't returned it yet Yada yada yada.

Why anyone would treat a customer like this is beyond me. Hell, he could just send me the stock back, even if it isn't done and keep the money I sent him, at least I wouldn't have to buy another stock.

DRUGS!!! He had told me he sent my stock yet he had no proof, no tracking# just he said. He said he would replace it several times but his buyer couldn't find one there were non in stock. Funny becuase I found hundreds of them. Several years later my gun just showed up on his work bench?? so he mailed it to me?

Well if that's the case I hope and pray he gets his crap together. And does the right thing and stops ripping people off. When I talked to the police dept. they said this is the 4th or 5th call they have gotten about him and the only real thing I can due is sue him in small claims court....so I guess that's what I will do.

I was going to do the same but the time and money and driving far outweighs what the gun was worth.

WTF do people do business with folks known for bizarre behavior? Because they're the best? Because they're the cheapest?

Of course thousands could be happy and only this thread has anything bad, but ....

If I was aware of how he did business I would have never of sent him my stock in the first place. Starting off, He returned my emails right away and he seemed like a legit guy. His website looks great and he appears to do some great work so everything seemed alright to me. Is it my fault I didn't do more research on him at first, yes it is. I learned my lesson on this one. I guess for future business deals I will have to do more in depth research.

Leaving a Yelp review will help the next guy.

That's what I'm thinking, get this guy's name out there so no one has to go through this. Scamming people, no matter how many you do it to, is wrong.
