    The Gun, or the Holster?

Ive owned glocks in the past, and recently (like saturday) i took home a brand new g19. Brand spankin new condition. Either its

    1. Glocks finish sucks now
    2. Its the holster (G-Code HSP Incog)
    3. I have given new meaning to "obsessive dry fire" or
    4. A combination of 2 or 3 of the above.

I dont care, its just cosmetic, but it struck me as odd compared to past experiences. Been constantly doing presentations like never before, but still... Lol. Or maybe i just have a knack for jacking up guns into calguns-aids-levels of wear

The new finish is nothing like it was before. I have many glocks and the old ones are like tanks regarding the finish. The new ones are horrible. That being said the corrosion resistance is supposed to be the same, but as you can see the looks deteriorate extremely easy now.

That's sad if the finish is wearing off that quick. Maybe glock needs a little tlc on qc. I cracked a 17 slide recently and was dumbfounded by what light force was needed.

Glocks new finish is easy to get scratched up.

Looks like a job for the ole rattle can...I also dig the authentic wear and tear look...

Not the "cerakote my gun like I operate" look.

Be honest, you've probably unholstered, dry fired and reholstered 30,000 times by now.

Could be a combination of both. Even a cheap finish shouldn't wear that fast. I notice the holster is not a straight design, but folded in, maybe it's folding in too soon? I'm planning to buy a G Code myself but will be requested a straight design so I can use it with multiple Glock models.

When was the last time the holster got a bath?

Have you checked with a bright light that no sand and other dirt is embedded in the kydex?

When was the last time you inspected the face of your hammer for finish or wear and tear? It's a tool and keep presenting you'll be the next Doc Holiday if you ever have a fight for blood...

Yeah man I'd have to say it's the finish. My M&P's have been in and out in incogs A TON of times and have nowhere near that kind of wear. [SARCASM]We all know your gear has to be pristine, so be sure to post pics after you've had it professionally restored. [/SARCASM]

I dunno but I'll go with finish quality issue..

these were daily officer carry until 2015, Mrs. Bee's on the left

2006, 9 years of active service / 2000, 15 years of active service

I started out with nothing - and I still have most of it

Not sure if this is sarcasm, or you're just unfamiliar with the OP's budding reputation.
