I had to post this because I thought it was just too amazing of a sight and unbelievable to me. I can't remember a time where I saw anything similar in a CA retail store:

This was at the Cabela's store in Lacey, WA. (I'm heading back from a short trip to Seattle where the missus and I were moving our son out of the dorms and back home for the summer.)
I couldn't resist and picked up 2 boxes of the Federal copper plated 325 value packs ($19.99 each), a box of the Remington Golden Bullet 525 pack ($36.99), and 5 trays of the CCI Mini-Mags ($8.99 each).
The gun counter was extremely amazing too. I didn't take pictures because there were a lot of people browsing & buying. I was trying to respect their privacy. But the counter stretched for 50 yards (that might be an exaggeration
) down the back of the store. The glass cases were full of handguns that we can't have in CA
and the back wall was stocked with rifles.
Surprisingly though, the prices were about the same as what we have in CA. I would have thought in a free(er) state, guns would be significantly below MSRP. But they weren't. If I remember correctly, I saw a Sig P226 Mk25 for $1195; a S&W M&P Shield .45 for $459, and a Noveske AR for $1999.
