Even though I've been making fun, I think that realistically we ("gun aficionados", like all us here at Calguns) are probably not the intended sales market for this item.

I do think that the first time gun buyer might be sweettalked into one of these instead of a Glock for a price tag that's around $150 to $250 less than a glock.

Oh yeah, your absolutely correct on that and hell it probably won't be a bad firearm. Heck if I'm a new shooter and low on funds, it most likely will not be a bad choice.

Agree with the "sure is ugly" crowd. ... also partial to the"should shoot good" crowd ...in fact.. I feel strongly both ways!!

They did invent the .22TCM cartridge.

However, their pistols that use it are existing pistols that were just chambered for it.

Their 22TCM9R pistol is just a Tanfoglio (Italian) CZ75 clone chambered in .22TCM.

If it's priced around $200-ish we can think of it as a Glock priced like a Glock SHOULD be priced...

^^ this is correct. The RIA MAP (steel) and MAPP (polymer) are Tanfoglio brand of Italy clones. I have handled and shot the RIA MAP, and I think it is made really, really well. I was very impressed with the quality.

I do like their 1911's a lot too, it is probably the best value 1911 out there.

So, I am really perplexed about this Glock clone of theirs, it looks terrible!!

Looks like a Glock and HS2000 hooked up and all of the recessive genes made an appearance in the child.
