    Places to buy/sell guns online

Given the present situation here, where are some good spots to advertise guns for sale online? I've tried gunsamerica but would like to expand my horizons and broaden my efforts.

If you have handguns that are not on CA's approved list, please try to keep them inside CA - and you'll likely get more for them via a legal PPT in CA then selling out in a 'free' market.

Try the calgunsale (or something like that) Yahoo group.

Why sell an off-list handgun in another state and give the grabbers what they want? Heck no, if I've got an off-list handgun you better believe I'm gonna sell it right here in Cali just to stick it to the man.

On a side note I'm trying to sell a shotgun not a handgun.

I usually hit several forums depending on what it is.
              Glocktalk
              Sigforum
              AR15.com
              gunscal
              M14forum
              Here

If that doesn't work, It goes to gunbroker (there's also auctionarms). And finally if it just has to go, I bring it over to Ade's Gun shop in Orange. The last one I couldn't sell ,I decided just to keep than give it away.

It's also a question of selling the gun in the right forum.

I bought a Marlin Cowboy Limited levergun for 325 shipped on gunboards.com. And it languished there for some time. Had it been advertised on the Cowboy Action board he could have sold it for 450 shipped without much difficulty.

                that said...

                some places to check

                gunboards
                sturmgewehr
                ar15
                glocktalk
you could always auction on gunbroker

The problem with handguns is shipping (paying an FFL to send USPS or using Fed Ex overnight) can get pricey and make a good deal for a buyer not such a good deal.

As said above...it's also nice to keep handguns not on the list here in Cali.

And with many C&Rs (those greater than 50 years) it's also nice for Cali residents as they can buy with no DROS/fee/lock/waiting/etc.

                So try Gunscal
