Turner's San Marcos going out of business?

I counted a total of 25 handguns in their shelves. There was very little ammo and almost no reloading components.

Either BHO's post election buying fever drained them clean or they're hurting in this economy too!

They seem to have been hurting for a while. Over the past 2 years or so I have seen their stock drop significantly. I like Duncan's in San Marcos better anyway but neither are that close to me...

Turners is NOT going outta biz. The BHO frenzy has spiked their sales and the reason they are empty, is cuz they cannot keep the product on the shelf. It sells out the day they get the stuff. That and they just cant get the inventory they want cuz the suppliers cant keep up with the demand.

Turners told me that they are first ones to receive guns in California from certain manufactures when they are ready to ship. It must be that they are pretty much sold out and could not replace the guns they sold yet.

Exactly what I've heard from a couple of Turners. Many guns are back ordered and as soon as the gun comes in it goes to the next person on the list.

I stopped by Pasadena Turners last week and they were pretty wiped out as well. Their cases were so empty that they had to spread out the few handguns they had to fill the space.

People are snapping up whatever is in stock. Thier shevles do look bare. I went over to Precision arms in Escondido last weekend too and they had plenty of stock on hand.
