If the stated purpose is to create a database of stolen firearms, why did they ghettofy the domain name?

I have Justice Data information network at my office computer, and I run s/n on it for my work purpose. I don't need other private website for it. And, I don't trust any website enough to submit the serial number for my guns or other serial numbers.Comment
