Help my Wife Spend $200... On Me...

So with Father's day coming up, my wife decided that even though we're in the middle of planning and financing a massive family reunion/wife's birthday party/Disneyland trip/week of unending in-law hell at the end of June, she would like to get me a Father's Day gift. My mind immediately went to a M1A, but she's setting a price limit since we will have some massive expenses in the two weeks that follow. So, $200 is the number she came up with. There's some battles worth fighting, and some worth conceding, and I know trying to raise that amount will be futile (nevermind how much I spent on her new purse for Mother's Day). SO my question is what options do I have firearms wise? I was thinking either just as much ammo as $200 will buy, or maybe a Hi-Point? Maybe a .22 derringer type pistol just for fun? What do you guys think/recommend?

So you already have a Shield, a wheelgun and a Remington 870?

May I suggest a Marlin 795? An accurate out of the box .22lr magazine fed rifle. Usually they sell for about $160, but on special sales (like Memorial Day or July4th) they may sell for as low as $130.

Get TechSights for about $70 and you'll have one good shooting accurate rifle. .22lr ammo are just dropping in price too, about $0.05 to $0.08 per round for low to mid quality ammo.

        Nice knife
        Nice flashlight
        Weapon light
Electronic hearing protection (you might need to add a little)
        Custom holster
Do you have a good first aid kit? $200 would be a good start to one.
        Or blowout kit
Rifle case - Either a nice soft case or a Pelican
        Chest rig
Ares Gear Aegis Enhanced belt...or similar high quality gun belt
Soft pouches like G Code soft-shell Scorpion pouches

I could go on but you get the idea.

              Weaponlight
              Belt/Holster
              Nice Chest Rig
              Set of BUIS

all depends on what you already have as far as weapons and gear. Your ammo stockpile as well. I know some people barely have a few hundred rounds.

Get her a pair of knee pads. That will make you happier than any POS gun that can be found in that price range

This is very wrong, but I did chuckle.

Training class. Guerilla Approach classes run that much and are 1 day typically
