    Mags marked LEO/Military

I tried looking for it but I am not sure of the answer. A buddy of mine asked if I knew if he could use Magazines that are marked for LEO and Military only? He has a couple and some one at a range the other day told him he could not have/use them as a civilian.

    Is this true?
He has had them before the California ban, does it matter?

Also, since I am on the subject... What about other equipment like the EOTechs that are marked LEO?

He's fine, there's a lot of stuff marked LEO only that isn't. Ammo, optics, magazines, folding stocks, etc... The magazines are a relic of the Clinton ban, as for the other stuff .

Edit: Actually the magazines must not be a relic of the ban because, like you say, some people have them from before the ban. Who knows...
