I don't like how they recently changed their name to the French way of saying it.

        Joking aside,

I've only heard good things about them and someday I plan to buy one of their compact models.

I was there in 2002 and visited Providence and Newport. Nice people, but they talk funny.

Maybe an old banned member trying to get his post count back up.

Spelling and punctuation can help your ideas flow.

As it is, yours needs a truck with the word "Rooter" on the side.

Never had one problem but did not like the grips so I put a pair of springfield logo grips on to jazz it up..

                  I have a 1911 Tactical in .45 ACP.

No real complaints. The sights could be better, and the rear sight kept coming loose. A drop of Loctite fixed that.

It has a full length guide rod, and not immediately obvious it is a 2-piece guide rod (it threads together in the center). I was scratching my head when I was unable to depress the spring retainer enough to remove the barrel bushing. I eventually discovered that the guide rod had unscrewed itself about 1/4 turn. Again, Loctite solved the issue.

I didn't care for the fat, smooth wood grips it came with so replaced them with slimmer checkered ones. And the park finish does scratch easily. Mine has a big scratch from stuffing it it into a coat pocket that also contained a large ring of keys. No worries, my guns are not safe queens.

                  I'd buy another.
