    Buying used guns in OC..

Any store in OC where you can actually get a deal on used guns? I've checked gunsamerica and gunbroker and the nib deals aren't much of a deal if you factor in dros and such. And I don't want to check out a used gun on those sites for 3 days and hassle with the returns.

I've read countless posts on this board and other boards about how you can get X gun for so much less $$$ used... I'm not talking PPT, I'm talking stores in OC/LA County with stock in hand..Thanks for any suggestions!

Check Turners outdoorsman, they have a on-line used gun section. Also post a WTB in forums that have one. Sometimes that will turn up something.

Ades gun shop usually has 15 to 30 used handguns and rifles in stock. Some at great prices. I used to post "Deals at Ades" in the now non existant classified section.

        Brookhurst Pawn in Anaheim

I got a great deal on a used SP101 from them. I asked if there was a discount for paying with cash and they knocked $15 off what was already a decent price. They seem a little high on used 12 gauges like 870s or Mossie 500s. Might be worth your while to check them out. They have a bunch of stuff in two or three HUGE safes, more than you see in their ads on GunsAmerica.

I'm curious Dan, about what did you pay for it and how do you like it? I'm considering a used one that I saw yesterday.

This is really all the antis have? I suppose they expected the second amendment to list full names and social security numbers!

Oops, forgot to check back. The GunsAmerica listing was for $305, but I went in with cash and he sold it for $290. BTW, it was the .38 Spl model rather than a .357. According to the serial number, it's a 15 year old gun (based on serial numbers listed on Sturm Ruger's website), but it doesn't seem to have been used much at all. The trigger action is still stiff like you see in a new Ruger. It has a very minor ding or two and it shoots great!
