"Once credible intelligence has been gathered," means a simple search of Calguns for those that post pictures of their weapons.
The only thing that is worse than an idiot, is someone who argues with one.

After all, it was the Army that passed the AW ban.

The Marines were behind the "safe" handgun roster and decides which guns people can buy.

The Navy are the people who won't issue CCW's.

The National Guard is the agency that revokes FFLs for reletively minor infractions.

        Right?

I'm sure glad the politicians that people elected are there to protect us from the government.

Reason 2- The article is about National Guard troops ( State ) not Fed troops. NG does not have the same resources as Fed troops and do not always have the ablility to utilize training areas like NTC or JRTC. Comperhension fail

The NG were planning to use homes of volunteers. People who were willing to help thier friends and nieghbors prepare for deployment overseas.

          Reason 3- It's not, they're not.

Quell your paranoia and hate for the Military and go rub one out or something.
While you're going back and correcting spelling errors, take a look at this post also.

help me out understanding this guys:

"The purpose of the April 2-5 drill will be to gather intelligence, then search for and apprehend a suspected weapons dealer"

                what does that mean???

                what weapons?
                a suspected ,, by who?
one that lives in a regular neighborhood... who answers his door ..so they can read his body language?

could someone please convince me this is not practicing gun confiscation from the people that live in single home dwellings

The National Guard has a Dual function now. It Has become Federalized recently to take commands from the white house. But having soldiers conducting house to house searching is a clear violation of posse comitatus.

New Orleans recently did Mount training a couple weeks prior to this recalled exercise. Almost the same type of training going on here seems strange.

Why would the Special Forces Community, Use actual Urban enviroments if they have all the resources at thier disposal????
