    CZ 75 P-01 help

I have a P-01 that I broke the slide release/ stop. CZ sent me a new one but now it needs to be fitted, and I lost the original broken one. I am looking for a local person to help me with the fitting of the slide stop, or someone who know a person that would help me. Every other round that i shoot the slide locks back.

Typically slide releases don't require any fitting work. Have you removed all the broken parts out if the frame? Is your slide off or still on the frame?

Sometimes you just need some elbow grease and just manhandle it into the little

It fits and it fires, but the slide locks back almost every shot. This is with the new slide release installed

          CZ 75 P-01 help

Shoot it with your left hand only to see if the slide still locks back.

And check if the slide stop spring is still in the gun.

Did they make a mistake and send a slide stop for a PCR?

They sent me both. I used the PCR slide stop for the kadet upper I am selling.

IIRC, the PCR stop on my P01 with the P01 slide, didn't hold the slide back. So make sure you're using the correct one.

Thanks, I have a sp-01 and looked at it compared to my P-01 slide stop and there was a little difference. The sp-01 stop was more polished, so I polished the same area on the P-01 stop. I will see when I test fire it. The PCR stop was much more different, Longer as well as the angle of the catch.

I have never heard of a CZ stop needing to be fit for a gun. Keep us posted.

I even had another guy shoot the CZ and he had the same thing happen. So I know it is not my grip. I did how ever had a Kadet on it before all this happened which never worked, because it needed to be fitted. I put. Back on the 9 mm upper and my problem started.

                        Cz

I talked with gave from CGW today. He told me it would not be the spring. We concluded that it is the ammo. The ammo worked fine before the Kadet swap. I will try factory ammo, and left handed to see the gun reacts. I took another CZ SP-01 that I own and the hook like part of the slide release was polished, so I polished the new slide release for the P-01. Hopefully that will work.
