What are these circles

Just bought my first gun for home defense. It's is a s&w trr8 .357 magnum with scaduum alloy. I was wondering what these three circles are that are not coated in black like the rest of the gun.

Looks more like an infection? Were they there when you bought the gun? Did they start showing up after you shot at a public range?

No. Blank opposite side.

Trigger pivot pin, trigger assy retaining pin (?) and hammer pivot pin.
Different color because they are different alloy than the frame.
Certainly no expert, but I did sleep at a Holiday Inn Express last night.
