Walmart is my favorite place to buy ammunition. After Prop 63 goes into effect, does anyone know if Walmart is still going to carry ammunition that is packaged under 50 rounds. For example, 20 round boxes of AR/other caliber rifle ammo and 25 round boxes of 12ga. I'd like to replenish what I shoot, albeit gradually without having to pay an extra FFL fee. It would also be interesting if manufacturers start producing 49 round boxes of ammunition. Unfortunately for me I live an hour away from a Walmart it would probably be more cost effective for me to pay the FFL fee than to make multiple trips. However, its always nice to stop by the Walmart when I'm in town and there's a little treat of some bricks of .22lr sitting on the shelf
Walmart has the best prices on universal 12ga and it's easy to burn 100 rounds shooting some clays.
