Do you rent or own? The reason I ask is that a buddy of mine put a safe about that size in his house (rental) and two years later when he moved out the owner had him pay for the damages that the weight of the safe did (plus the anchor work that was done). Cost him over $5k. Would hate to see that happen to you.

I've got some of the velcro handgun doodads, but I don't use them on the door; they're on the inside walls of my safe, that way they never experience movement or any force besides removing/reinserting the pistols. Worked well for me so far. Just an idea for those that have the room inside to do so. I agree with how they rate these gun safes for capacity. I've got a 14 gun safe and can barely fit 5 rifles in that half of the safe (the main compartment is split into two, 7-gun areas). Although, I don't think they take AR's and AK's into account when determining safe capacity. If you stuck to typical hunting rifles/shotguns, the size would probably be more accurate. But what fun is that?This is my sig line.Comment
