The guys in the C&R forum here would love to see the items too. It's a small community here, but nevertheless, there are some knowledgeable dudes. Please don't destroy the banner.......It is still a piece of history, albeit a dark piece of history.

Don't destroy that banner, if you don't want it, there are many museums/collectors who would. And do not store that luger in the holster!

Post up some pics in the C&R forum if you can, there are Luger guys there.

I'll take the banner for my garage if you're gonna destroy it.

The banner may be worth considerable money. It is a historical artifact...don't destroy it.

There are a lot of WWII Lugers out there and a wide range of prices. Google "Luger Pricing and Values" and a couple cheap reference books will be listed that provide a good starting point reference. The Blue Book of Gun Values might also cover your particular Luger variant.

Even as a Jew, I would implore you to keep all of those things and packed. They are a very important part of history and need to be preserved. Please do not destroy anything. If it matters, the monetary value of that is probably astronomical.
