XD9 recoil

Guns:
XD9 sub, only 200 rds thru
XD9 tact, app 2000 rds thru

I got the sub in a trade and PO only had 200 rds thru. Compared both guns side by side and was surprised that the recoil impulse are about the same. I define that by how much the muzzle rise shot after shot. Didn't pay attention to sight recovery though

Possibly the tact got more rounds thru with the original spring?

I feel like the Tactical rocks in my hand more than the subcompact.

It's possible.
Or maybe you're more comfortable shooting a pistol that isn't the size of a broad sword.
