I know a lot of people, mostly relatives, that own 9mm shields.
The factory triggers were a poor substitute for the factory Glock triggers and they are a lot harder to improve/upgrade at home.
So instead of a CA approved 9mm shield, I paid the premium and grabbed a G43.
When it came time to replace/upgrade my G26/G30 for a slimmer carry piece, the .45 shield easily made the cut.
My understanding is that S&W has made ongoing trigger improvements in the Shield line and my .45 shield definitely reflects this.
