He kept chamber empty before robbery !

On April 26 an armed robbery suspect failed to successfully rack the slide of his semi-automatic pistol but pointed the jammed gun toward a cashier and demanded money anyway.

Anyone think this gun was stolen?

Maybe he didn't want to hurt anyone.

He had a jam, okay. But in the grand scheme of things if things got ugly, remedial action would only take a second. He probably was more worried about leaving a round with his fingerprint at the scene.

That cashier did a good job, I think. He even threw his gloves into the garbage without missing. As far as whether the cashier knew if the gun was jammed or not, it doesn't matter. It's not his money and not worth losing his life over.

Regarding the jam this violent POS experienced. Its unlikely he could have cleared it in 1 second, considering I shoot frequently and am unable to clear a malfunction in one second! Further it's unlikely he was worried about a fingerprint since he wasn't worried about having his face on camera!

I agree the cashier handled it correctly,as it looked to me that this thug would have pistol whipped the clerk if his gun didn't fire!
Had the clerk been armed and taken action.Calgunners can bet the ACLU and BLM crowd would have had the clerk up on murder charges since it was obvious to a surveillance camera that his gun was jammed.

Amazing! How could we have possibly missed this?
