    Anti-Corrosion Storage Bags?

Has anyone used these sort of bags? In what environment was the bag used? An attic? Basement? Just in your safe?

    Thanks in advance.

Plastic version of Bore Store. I would think that the cloth Bore Stores would offer better protection than those plastic ones.

I used the metalized bags from Brownells

Along with the anti-corrosion tablets Brownells sell. Sealed with an iron, it appeared to be a good seal from air. Stored in the heated/cooled part of the home (nothing extreme).

Plastic bags do not keep moisture out as well as you would think. Our silicon wafers come from the foundry in a mylar metalized bag. You can watch the moisture indicator change from blue to pink in a few months. That's when we repacked them in the heavier bags.

What about a nice film of CLP and placing the item in a ziplock with all the air carefully purged out of it?
