    transporting to another country?

    i was wondering if anyone knows where i can find info on sending a gun to central america, i would like to send one to my dad. seams the cheap hand guns run $1,000+ for a 500 daller gun here. pluse here you have a better selection.

      Completely from the top of my head so I could be wrong.

      But ITAR won't even let people ship a rail system out of this country so I highly doubt you going to be able to ship a firearm out and transfer it to someone else. The only cases I know of that is permissible by a private citizen are for safaris and similar events where the firearm is than returned properly to the US.

      I believe you have to get a State Department Export license and permission from the receiving country. Might not be hard if you are an international arms trader (the legal kind) but than you wouldn't be on this forum asking a question like that.

          the registration is not a big deal, they don't ask for much like here. and with a little coin, you get it registered, it's sending it from here to there, the problem.
