Extended charging handle or gun safe space?

I can almost double my safe space if I downgrade my ARs to standard charging handles

Just remove the handles for storage. I store a few of my rifles without bcg/CH. Same with bolt guns. Bolt stays out of rifle wrapped in a rag till the next time i shoot.

      Duh. Thanks

EDIT: I just removed all my charging handles and bolts and hid them in another super secret location. Its like I have a new safe, and the guns are that much safer. Solid yo!

Or sell all your guns and have unlimited power space.

There's always the option of another safe.

What happens to a half full safe?

              Empty wallet.

Nature abhors a vacuum. So does a gun safe.

What is this extended charging handle? What problem does it solve over a mil spec handle?
Rule 1- ALL GUNS ARE ALWAYS LOADED

Rule 2 -NEVER LET THE MUZZLE COVER ANYTHING YOU ARE NOT PREPARED TO DESTROY (including your hands and legs)

Rule 3 -KEEP YOUR FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER UNTIL YOUR SIGHTS ARE ON THE TARGET

Rule 4 -BE SURE OF YOUR TARGET AND WHAT IS BEYOND IT
                  (thanks to Jeff Cooper)

More importantly, why is his extended charging handle so laughably massive it crowds his safe?
My problem is optics, not charging handles.

                    Pro tip, up/down/up/down.
