Calguns Flowchart BS?

Calgunners,

I've been in no less than 3 local gun shops in the bay area - and in 2 cases these were the actual owners talking - that the flowchart on 'Calguns is BS - and if you base your decisions on that you're going to land in jail'. This was based on asking about ordering the Remington R-15's and R-25's. Some told me no way - even with a BB.

What do you fellow Calgunners have to say about this?

The shops obviously don't know what they are talking about and have probably not even looked at the flowchart.
The flowchart even cites the relevant penal codes

Can i just make a wild guess and say IMBERT AND SMITHERS??? they have that attitude, and don't realize that removable means requires a tool. they also have very little knowledge about the stuff they sell (at least in their reloading section)

Really man, do some freakin research on your own then. The flow chart is supposed to make it easy; all the research, time, and sweat has been done by those that know what they are talking about. And show me ONE case where a legally configured BB rifle has landed someone in jail. I'll be waiting..............................

Take a trip to Reno in (I think) April, stop at Cabelas on the way to the big Reno show.....you will get lost in hands on re-loading shopping...
