I sent a Request for Firearm Records from to the DOJ at the end of December and still have not received any paperwork. I included the notarized form, Copy of ID etc. Any idea on how long it should take to get back form those who have filed one?

It can take any where from 3-45 weeks to receive a response from them via mail.
In 2015, it took about 4 months for me to get the results of my AFS Request for Firearms.sigpic

Is that a request to show what firearms they have "on the books" for you?We have too much to lose and so we'll lose it all - sd_shooterI try to frame my response to be useful to those observing, with little regard to convince the opponent of my awesomeness - EM2TRUMP/NUNESIt's hard to win an argument with a smart person, but it's impossible to win an argument with a stupid person - WhitefangComment

I had exactly the same experience. I had completely forgotten the request
The report was eye opening regarding the lack of accuracy of the database. Five pages of extremely inaccurate info. Stuff that was reported stolen in the '80's was still there. A lot of stuff that I own wasn't there.sigpicComment
