    30 day delay over

Dealer released to me today. The grips were changed to protect the
innocent 70 Series from 1980 with blue small parts. Colt Model O1975
Reason was explained to me by FFL ,gun was part of a large estate, after
the owner died, inventory was delivered to FFL( including subject pistol),
what estate didn't know was Grandpa had lost track of the pistol and
filled out paperwork a long time ago claiming stolen. Hence the delay.

Did they give you a reason why you had the delay?

      Congrats! It looks great too!

You are a smart man for using an FFL that will release if undetermined. A delay can have NOTHING to do with the buyer.

I am still amazed by how many buyers don't check the FFL's policy on that before they DROS!

Who do you mean by "they"? If you're looking for a reason for a delay there is no one out there (besides yourself) that will grant you that information.

The only time you may get a reason/explanation from the DOJ is in the event of a denial. The FFL isn't privy to any of the information either so you won't find any "reasons" there either.

Read the bolded. The OP explained the reason for the delay.
Anyone can look around and see the damage to the state and country inflicted by bad politicians.

A vote is clearly much more dangerous than a gun.

Why advocate restrictions on one right (voting) without comparable restrictions on another (self defense) (or, why not say 'Be a U.S. citizen' as the requirement for CCW)?
