    Selling some guns

to buy more ammo!!! There are a lot of great deals on ammo right now. Like many here, I plan on stocking up before the end of the year. I've bought more ammo so far this year than the last 2 years combined but considering the new laws, I feel I should get a lot more. I have a few guns that I figure I can sell (nothing special) and use the money for ammo. I'm sure there are a few others here doing the same. Right?

It seems counter intuitive to me since the gun is less expensive than the ammo, typically speaking. But, if you own a bunch of guns and can replace them in the future, but just need cash flow to stock up on ammo now to avoid the eminent nonsense, then I guess I can see your point.

Are you selling your guns cheap?

Keep the guns. Would drive 4 hours to play at the beach. Will drive 4 hours to play at ammo store. Just bring more sand home each trip.

No, I'm not and would not sell guns just to buy ammo. I would sell the guns that I don't like or have no use for, but that decision isn't dependent on my desire for more ammo.

If you are going to sell guns so you can have more ammo then use the money to buy a reloading press or you will just be chasing the issue the rest of your life.

I would like to reload. Will next year's law affect reloading supplies at all?

This, sold several guns in the last 4-5 months, and bought ammo, but one had little to do with the other... I had guns I didn't want so I sold them to buy more... also bought ammo...

The current laws do not impact reloading. Doesn't mean they won't go after that in the future, but then their agenda becomes very clear.
