    Nanuk Cases?

Does anyone have experience with Nanuk cases? I know Pelican makes very similarly configured cases for carrying multiple handguns. I like that this case has a user configurable section so you can either carry six pistols or 4 plus some room for storage (see the video at about the :55 mark). I'm really just wondering how the actual cases are? Are they more or less as robust as a Pelican case?

I have a Nanuk case for my pistols and it's awesome. I didn't buy a pistol-specific case, I picked the size I wanted with the pick and pluck foam so I could customize it how I wanted. Mine fits 9 pistols and a few mags.

The case itself is very solid and durable. I'm pretty sure I could launch it out a 3rd story window into the street and it would just bounce a couple times and remain intact. You can really feel the quality.

The lock eyelets are reinforced with metal rings so you don't have to worry about weak plastic there if you decide to padlock it. It's rated for air travel. I'd buy another without thinking twice.

I don't have their pistol cases, but I use Nanuk for all of my photography gear.

Very well built, I never think twice if my gear will be safe or not. I'd buy them again without a doubt.

I actually prefer the features on Nanuk cases over Pelican.

I believe their wheels and hardware are beefier. I also like the fact that the handles are spring loaded and snap back to the case instead of dangling out and snagging on things or helping me knock the case off of tables. Lastly, I actually prefer the top lid not folding all the way down flat like the Pelican cases do. I can open the case on a smaller footprint area and not worry about the where the top lid goes. Lastly, I like their latches more than Pelican. Maybe even more than the latches on Storm/Hardigg cases which I really like also.
