I never have, but that said, why would it not be okay?

I have (2) on my CA permit, so if I decided I wanted to sell one, I would.

If you wanted the SD to be aware, you could notify them, and they would let you know if they require any paperwork and a re-issue of your permit. I doubt they would need anything.

I have as well. I did it as I was adding a new one. If you are just removing it and not replacing it notify your IA.

Yes, You can Sell Your CCW weapon. However you would need to Go to Your Local issuing Agency and Get it Removed from Your CCW Permit.
There is a Small Fee to complete this.
