How long does it usually take to get the form and stamp once you’ve been approved?

I did my usual Monday morning phone call into the ATF and my second suppressor was approved on 10/11. This Form 4 was for a SilencerCo Hybrid.

Still need the stamp to show up at my FFL's place before I can take possession.

Considering my first one took a year this second one was much quicker for approval.

1 more Form 4 left for approval.

Once you get over the cool factor and forbidden fruit aspect of suppressors, you quickly realize they are just another gun related accessory.

As suppressor ownership grows across the country and becomes pretty normal I hope things like the SHARE Act get passed and make them more accessible for everyone.

I need to get an ASR mount flash hider for my AR and also an ASR mount flash hider for my Scorpion carbine but after that I will play around with the Hybrid and give you my opinion.

As far as using it on a pistol, I played with it on my VP9 tactical and I found it to be too big as a pistol can. Did a fine job suppressing but the larger 1.565 inch diameter makes even suppressor height sights non-usable as you essentially use the top edge of your suppressor as your only sight. I'll take some pics when I bring it home to show you guys what I mean.

Nice! I filled out a bunch of form 4 Individuals, 5 of them to be exact. All for different suppressors. Two were done Oct 2016, One in Dec 2016, One in Feb 2017 and the last one was July 2017. I got 4 of them approved at the end of Aug beginning of Sept. strange thing was the Feb 17 was approved before one of them that was submitted in Oct 2017. Well I now have my SPECWAR 556K, SPECWAR 7.62, DeadAir Mask HD, and AAC Illusion 9. Now I am just waiting for the SIG 45srd.

369 days from submission to goods in hand.

                            Silencerco Hybrid
On Ruger Ranch rifle in 300blk with subsonic loads it's very quiet. The bullet impact is louder than the gas emission.

On AR with 5.56 62gr sounds about like .22lr so still wide to wear are pro.

On AR 6.8 SPC II still decently loud but reasonably quiet.

450 Bushmaster has an oddball thread that is not a standard for Silencerco so still trying to get that sorted. Still working up subsonic load. Gonna be fun!

On 1911 in 45ACP with 230gr fmj so much fun and super quiet. My sights are too low so I just use a laser until I get high profile sights sorted.

Well worth the wait and $.

Have not tried it on AR10 7.62X51 but soon will.

I need to get off my a** and send mine in. Does anyone see a problem if I get fingerprinted in CA when the application is for NV? Form 4 for DeadAir Wolf 9SD and DeadAir Sandman K.
