California Compliant AR help.

Im currently in the process of building a new California compliant ar-15. If i buy a lower parts kit that comes with a pistol grip (im building featureless) will a grip fin be okay? like so: https://gyazo.com/366f2f10d1b9ac5002c6ba0542dfb85a
