    AR Barrel threading

Looking for a Gunsmith that doesn't charge an arm and a leg to thread a barrel to install a muzzle break in the San Francisco Bay Area.

I know .. I know .. I know .. I can buy a tap set on amazon for $ 55 or why the hack do you need a muzzle break on AR? This is the only barrel that need threading (some how, I bought a barrel that is not threaded so don;t want to clutter the already messy house with more tools) and just want to make it look cool, not because it's needed with .223. Worst come worst (and the price is more expensive), I will just buy a tap set.

    Thx in advance for help.

    Spartan Rifles
$125. Ive never used a tap but you reeeally wanna make sure its in line with the bore. If you mess it up then the barrel could be trash or need to be cut down to 14.5 and then P&W and now you have more money invested. Spartan Rifles will do it right.

Never use a die to thread a barrel . if it comes out crooked, it costs twice as much to fix it.
Been gone too long. It's been 15 to 20 years since i had to shelf my guns. Those early years sucked.

            Standard barrel threading: $40.
