Long time lurker here, I learn more by listening than talking. I read Calguns every day, and have learned a lot over the years. Calguns has been my main resource for my OLL builds and current laws. Mods, if this thread violates the rules, please delete it (I've looked, and don't believe I"m in violation).
Given the latest AW foolishness, I've been working on a pump design for the AR that works with the "evil" features, and still looks like an AR. The photo is of my prototype pump operated upper that I'd like to produce if there is enough interest. The upper simply attaches like any other upper, and doesn't require any changes to an existing SA lower. Not being a SA, all "evil" features can be used, including a normal mag release button. Please let me know what you think (in a constructive way please). Thanks.
EDIT: I want to announce the roll-out of Outcast Garrison, a new web based company offering the Animus, the pump AR upper I was gauging interest in. The address is www.outcastgarrison.com. We also have a Facebook page. We are offering an assembled upper, as well as a parts kit. If a pump AR interests you, please take a look. We also invite any constructive feedback. In time, if there is enough interest, we intend to expand the upper offerings to have more barrel and caliber options. The parts kit, since it is a parts kit, already has that capability.
