Got word of this site a few weeks ago and finally got around to registering. I have a feeling there's a wealth of knowledge on this site.

Anyhow, I only own 1 firearm (so far ), a Walther P99 .40 QA. I've put about 1500 rounds through it. Any other P99 owners? Troubles and problems to look out for?

My buddy has a SW99, same thing, and broke off the slide lock during a tactical handgun course. Midway will have all replacement parts you need.

Welcome aboard and as all the guys have said so far, good luck with holding onto your wallet, seems everytime i look at a thread on CalGuns, my savings account dwindles. . . I dont know why! Those walther 99's are a pretty fun gun, Ive got one in 9mm and its lots of fun. havent had any probs to date, and ive got about 3500 rds thru mine. Anyways, One thing ive learned here, "The only dumb question, is the one you dont ask!" These folks on here have tons of knowledge, experience, and every now and then a good story to boot. so dont be afraid to ask questions around them, if one of them doesnt know the answer, Im sure they can tell you someone who might!
