Did you also apply for your California "Certificate of Eligibility", AKA "COE"?
If not your C&R license in California will do nothing for you.Poke'm with a stick!

I was told I have to do it when I get the c and r. Plus I go out of state quite a bit.Comment

You don't need to wait to get COE. If you think you might not be issued a C&R then wait, but if you have no drama on your background then don't wait to get the COE.Comment

Yeah, I applied for the COE the same day as my C&R. I received the C&R in 2 months (almost to the day), and the COE took an additional 6 weeks beyond receiving the C&R.Comment

I sent both applications in the same day. The FFL03 took only 5 weeks to the day while the COE is running really, really behind, over 60 days to receive. I am on day 78...
*Update* received my COE on day 85!Last edited by steel30; 03-01-2017, 3:26 PM.sigpicComment
