NRA Truth about guns Poll

I just received a poll from the NRA, and I read it and filled it out. I like that they asked very specific questions to combat the misinformation being spread about how gun owners want background checks on ammo purchases, and want more universal background checks, etc.
I really like that they included carbon copies that are addressed to and will be sent to Diane Fienstein, and Kamala Harris, and others. Hell, I liked it so much that I included a check for $50 even though I donated $50 last week. What do you guys think?

Great logic in this post, I gotta say. Donations aren't all that matters however. Harvard has posted pro-gun studies, and statistics from Australia debunk the semi-auto ban over there being in any way significant in reducing crime. Good science needs to be used to combat misinformation. However, it also needs to come from a source that cannot be easily claimed to be biased.

Yes, I agree that the NRA poll is not in any way unbiased. But if every NRA member completes the poll, and Kamala Harris and Diane Fienstein get a copy of the poll from every member, it might (not likely, but might) give them an idea of the way that we actually feel. I think a physical paper being mailed carries more weight then the mass emails that we always send. Deep down I know that those two numbskulls will never change, and they will never stop with their anti agenda, but I still like the idea of it.

It's most definitely a biased poll if it was meant to be a sample of the general population, but I think the idea of the poll was to get a sampling of the thoughts of only gun owners (to counter the argument that liberals claim "most gun owners think..."), which an NRA poll probably does fairly represent.

I believe it was designed specifically to refute Anti Gun Democrat Politicians
various disingenuous statements along the lines
"Even NRA Members back"

The survey was done specifically to Refute these Lies regarding how NRA
members think about Gun Control. Amusing how Anti Gun Democrats
think they know anything about what NRA members believe.

At least that is what I remember, the survey has been sent out several
times before, I think I still have a copy laying around somewhere, but
can't seem to find it atm.

Good on You OP, the donations especially help, the NRA-ILA funds have been
mostly depleted from all the huge victories the NRA accomplished in the
2016 Elections.... we need to get them recharged ASAP for the next push
to get our 2nd Amendment Rights fully protected and restored.

Thanks. I try my best to donate to NRA, CPRA, FPC, CGF, SAF, and anyone else who emails me and let's me know that they are fighting for our gun rights, especially in California, but anywhere that need help. It really is the least that I can do. It takes money to fight, and I want to do my part
