I have one of these and I am wondering if I can put pre-ban mags from my registered AR lowers in my Robinson? I bought the robinson with out a grip.

Yes. Have fun with it all you want, as long as you don't go changing the configuration. You can add a Monsterman grip if you like, but don't go adding a pistol grip.

Hey, speaking of 223... these guns do have 223 chambers, not 5.56mm chambers. Don't go slipping it any 5.56mm!

And if you're shooting reloads, make sure your brass is meticulously trimmed to length.
