Beretta CX-4

I would be one happy camper if they would start making the RX-4 here. Please tell us your impressions of the rifle. I think they would sell like hotcakes and likely put a serious dent in the mini14 and SU16 markets.I mentioned the RX-4 to them. They told me that they have some issues with the ATF, the rifle being made overseas and some other fine lines. However, they told me that they may look into the option of bringing the dies to the United States and making it here. That will be a GOOD idea.
When I was at the Beretta USA in Maryland in December 2005, I had an opportunity to take a look at the only existing RX-4 in the US, a prototype one. It looked promising to me, but the plan to produce was put on hold. I will check with them in a few month to see where they are on the issue.Comment

I just met with the Beretta man again today. He said if the Beretta won't do it for CX4, he will contact a distributor in Florida and see if they can modify the gun to accept the bullet button. I am pretty sure then the distributor will sell them to a big market, California. I guess we are stepping toward the right direction.Comment

Does LanWorld already do that? I know they sell the Hi-Point carbine with an ATI stock and bullet button. I don't see why they wouldn't for the CX4 (unless the CX4 BB would just be difficult to manufacture for some reason).I just met with the Beretta man again today.
