I believe that if the Beretta decided to make and distribute the rifles, the overall length could be arranged.

When I was at the Beretta USA in Maryland in December 2005, I had an opportunity to take a look at the only existing RX-4 in the US, a prototype one. It looked promising to me, but the plan to produce was put on hold. I will check with them in a few month to see where they are on the issue.
I would be one happy camper if they would start making the RX-4 here. Please tell us your impressions of the rifle. I think they would sell like hotcakes and likely put a serious dent in the mini14 and SU16 markets.

I just met with the Beretta man again today. He said if the Beretta won't do it for CX4, he will contact a distributor in Florida and see if they can modify the gun to accept the bullet button. I am pretty sure then the distributor will sell them to a big market, California. I guess we are stepping toward the right direction.

Does LanWorld already do that? I know they sell the Hi-Point carbine with an ATI stock and bullet button. I don't see why they wouldn't for the CX4 (unless the CX4 BB would just be difficult to manufacture for some reason).

I would get one. I was in a gun store the other day asking about them and of course the owner said they would never be available in Kali. But here's to hoping.
