    Bullet buttons

I had the pleasure of removing all of the Bullet Buttons on my AK platform rifles today. Next I'll have to make my under folder AK functional again. But no hurry on that since I never fire it from the folded position anyway.

Now my AR rifles are a different story. I went to all the gun stores in my area of Arizona and could not find enough magazine release assemblies in stock. I only found one, which I bought and installed today. But I need 5 more, which I had to order off of the internet. Freedom feels great!!!!!

Any ideas for making my 10/30 round magazines into standard 30 round magazines?

Just buy new mags. Less hassle.

I am not sure how they are configured since I didn't limit the mags myself, but bought them as 10/30 mags on the internet. But I guess I could put them on the market and see if anyone is interested. I didn't realize it would be such a hassle to remove the blocks/limiters.

If there is a rivet in the spine, just drill it out.

drill out rivet, pull apart magazine, there is some type of limiter inside, assemble without that limiter and dont bother replacing the rivet.

            or

sell them here and buy new.

              Congrats on the move!

In what possible set of circumstances could the time and labor spent reconverting 10/30 magazines back into standard capacity magazines outweigh the simple act of buying new ones, which are dirt cheap and abundant outside of California?

If they were epoxied or riveted, it would take a lot of effort and they would likely not even be reliable after being altered, and then re-altered again. Outside of California they are almost completely worthless. Either sell or give them to someone you know who is still in CA.
